Torrevieja enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate all year round, with mild winters and warm summers.
During the colder months, temperatures usually range between 12°C and 18°C, while in summer they often exceed 30°C.
Its proximity to the sea helps to soften the heat, making it possible to enjoy outdoor activities at any time of year.
During the sunniest months, we recommend using sun cream, sunglasses and a hat.
In Spain, mealtimes are later than in many other European countries. Lunch is usually served between 13:30 and 15:30, and dinner from around 20:30 onwards.
Most shops are open Monday to Saturday, usually in the morning and afternoon, from around 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:30. Some large retail outlets also open on Sundays and authorised public holidays.
Bank branches are usually open Monday to Friday in the morning, approximately from 08:30 to 14:00. The main post office is open Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 20:30 and on Saturdays from 09:30 to 14:00.

The main Tourist Info Torrevieja office, located on Paseo Vista Alegre, provides maps and useful information to help visitors discover the city’s main tourist attractions and plan their stay.
From September to June, it is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00, and on Saturdays and public holidays from 09:30 to 13:30. In July and August, weekday opening hours are extended until 20:00, while Saturdays and public holidays remain from 09:30 to 13:30. The office is accessible for people with reduced mobility.
There is also a tourist information point at La Mata Town Hall, in Plaza Gaspar Perelló, open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00.

In Spain, the mains voltage is 230 V and type F plugs are used. An adaptor may be required depending on your country of origin.
