Shopping in Torrevieja: explore its shops and shopping centres
Torrevieja offers a wide and varied range of shops, combining traditional high street shops with large retail parks and open-air markets.
The city centre is home to much of Torrevieja’s commercial activity, with streets designed for strolling and shopping. The Habaneras Shopping Centre, located on Avenida Rosa Mazón Valero, adds to this offer with a broad selection of fashion, homeware and restaurants. It is generally open Monday to Saturday, from around 10:00 to 22:00, with opening times subject to change on public holidays and special opening days.

Markets and open-air shopping
The town also has two very popular weekly markets. The La Mata Market is held on Wednesdays on Avenida de Francia, whilst the Torrevieja Market takes place on Fridays on Avenida Delfina Viudes, next to the Water Park. In Both offer fresh produce, clothing, accessories and a variety of other items.
Shopping hours and sales periods
Shops in the town centre are usually open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 20:30, although opening hours may vary depending on the establishment. Throughout the year, shopping activity increases during sales periods, such as the winter sales, from early January to March, and the summer sales, during July and August, as well as during other promotional campaigns.
