Los Náufragos Beach

The former Torrevieja railway station, inaugurated in 1884, was for decades a key facility for the transport of salt and passengers, contributing to the town’s economic development and connecting it with other towns in the surrounding area. After the railway service closed in 1970, the site was transformed into a public park.
Today, Parque de la Estación combines historical memory with everyday public use. It preserves elements linked to its railway past and features landscaped areas, a children’s playground and skate areas. The former station buildings now house the Natural History Museum.
