Los Náufragos Beach
The Blue Flag confirms that this is an outstanding beach. It is long…
The Dique de Levante Promenade is one of Torrevieja’s most distinctive and emblematic walks. Built along the historic seawall that protected the bay, as well as the town’s fishing and salt industries, for decades, it is now a spacious promenade stretching out into the sea and offering exceptional views of the coastline.
At over one kilometre long, it is an ideal place for walking, exercising, or simply pausing to take in the scenery. Its lower section also includes a cycle lane, offering even more ways to enjoy this open-air setting.
Recent renovation work has made the promenade even more comfortable and attractive, consolidating its status as one of the highlights of Torrevieja’s seafront. From the very beginning of the walk, visitors can enjoy a striking “between two seas” panorama: the open horizon on one side and Torrevieja’s urban skyline on the other. Along the route, the sculpture paying tribute to the sailor’s wife adds a sense of memory and local identity to this emblematic seaside walk.
