Torrevieja Greenway

Until the 1970s, Torrevieja had a railway line whose existence was closely linked to the salt industry of the area. Today, the Greenway stretches along this former railway line—a pleasant route of over 7 km that connects the old train station with the boundary of the municipality, towards Los Montesinos.

This route is ideal for enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking or cycling, offering a different way to discover the landscape and history of the city, while paying tribute to the railway past that allowed the renowned Torrevieja salt to be exported.
