The Blue Flag confirms that this is an outstanding beach. It is long…
Plaza de la Constitución, traditionally known as La Glorieta, is one of the most emblematic and vibrant spaces in Torrevieja. Framed by the Town Hall and the Archpriestal Church of the Immaculate Conception, it forms the historic and administrative heart of the city.
Its traditional character is reflected in the ochre-toned ceramic paving, the shade of its trees and its central fountain — elements that have defined the square’s familiar image for generations. Although it has evolved over time to meet the needs of the city, it has always preserved its role as a cherished meeting place and setting for local celebrations.
Today, La Glorieta continues to be a true focal point of Torrevieja’s daily life, welcoming cultural events, concerts and popular festivities throughout the year. For visitors, it is one of the most representative places in the historic centre and an essential stop to understand the spirit of the city.
